Baby Got Back...to Brooklyn.

Yep, I'm home. Last week was a restful week, though a bit busier than I had anticipated. As much as I love posting here, it was a nice break. I got to see a Notre Dame practice, meet my nephew David, see the fam, and attend Danny and Cassie's wedding. Congrats guys.

So taking a step back helped me realize that I have too many goals in life, so I'm going to try and cut down a bit of time on the blog to concentrate on getting my own small business going. I'll still try to post every day, but perhaps my writing won't be as detailed. Don't worry, I still love you and want to spread the music. I'll take care of you.

Anyway, tonight I'm heading to South Street Seaport to see one concert I've been dreaming about for the past few months: The National. I'm hoping it won't be too nasty out, but I'm expecting a ton of people to be there.

Here are a few tracks. First off, a track I've been obsessed with this past week by The National off of their 2005 album, Alligator, which I believe to be one of the most beautiful songs I have heard in my life. Secondly, a song off of Dying to Say This To You, the 2006 sophomore effort by The Sounds, which I forgot about until the subway today.
